Description

This course is designed to support students to explore career pathways and develop skills for work and further training.

It will provide participants with a range of knowledge and skills for workplace participation, and independent learning skills for further study.

The literacy and numeracy units partially align with Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) level 2 to 3.

Packaging Rules
To achieve the qualification Certificate II in Career Preparation, the learner must complete a total of fourteen (14) units.
- Seven (7) to fourteen (14) units from Group A and/or B, where at least six (6) units must be NAT coded units
- Zero (0) to one (1) unit from Group C
- Zero (0) to seven (7) units from Group D

This course may be completed with a vocational specialisation and the chosen vocational specialisation will be included on the learner qualification. Vocational specialisations include:

To achieve the qualification Certificate II in Career Preparation (specialisation) the learner must complete a total of fourteen (14) units.
-Seven (7) to nine (9) units from Group A, where at least six (6) units must be NAT coded units
- Five (5) to seven (7) units from one vocational group (specialisation) in Group D
